CORONATION Street will air a special hour-long episode tonight before football causes chaos with the schedules.

The ITV soap will no longer air on Friday night due to an FA Cup match.

Fans will be furious about the changes that will see them go without a new episode of Corrie for five days.

After tonight’s episode, the usual two episodes will air on Wednesday night but fans will have to wait until Monday for more.

It comes after ITV announced a dramatic change to the soap’s broadcast – changing decades of history.

      But viewers were left incredulous by Kathy’s hypocrisy considering Bobby’s own history as a killer.

      Not only did he kill his sister Lucy, but he tried to kill adopted mum Jane.

      And Kathy’s son Ben killed Heather Trott – making them a family of killers.

      One wrote: "That was harsh from Kathy"

      A second said: "Judgement much Kathy seriously? Also wasn't Ben once involved in human trafficking?"

      The businesswoman – who is played by actress Gillian Taylforth in the BBC soap – hit the roof tonight after discovering Bobby’s ex Dana’s brother Aaron was responsible for the bomb in the restaurant.

      Bobby had confided in Peter, and come up with a plan to propose – leaving Kathy furious.

      She stopped the proposal and humiliated the Monroes.

      As Harvey begged to speak to Kathy in private, she shut him down.

      “You think you can wriggle out this again?” she said. 

      “You’re nothing but a nasty little racist.”

      She added: “Aaron for his ideas from somewhere – they don’t call them home grown terrorists for nothing.”

      Turning to the restaurant customers she told them: “Yeah that’s right – this man’s son is the one who planted the device at the Argee Bhajee.

      “He didn’t do it on his own, did he? Do you really think I’d let my grandson marry into a family of terrorists?”

      Michael Greco a ‘crying wreck’ on Loose Women

      The Beppe DiMarco actor, 51, became overwhelmed talking about the tot's seven-week stay at Great Ormond Street hospital.

      He appeared on the ITV show today with partner Helen Harris and their newborn, who was born in July.

      Michael ended up describing himself as a "crying wreck" after breaking down while recounting his family's emotional story.

      The youngster was born six weeks premature with gastroschisis, a rare genetic disorder when the baby’s abdomen does not develop fully while in the womb.

      Speaking about how the hospital had saved his son's life he became tearful and was passed a tissue by Loose Women host Ruth Langsford.

      He said: "When they picked it up on the scan six weeks previous to him being born the consultant said we've got to get him out because there's no movement.

      "We were worried about being stillborn or anything like that. When he was born born she didn't show the full baby, they just showed his head and shoulders because underneath was this whole thing…"

      The teacher – who is played by actor Rob Mallard in the ITV soap – put his foot in it during the consent workshops at school in yesterdays episode.

      He revealed to Max as to what happened to David.

      Daniel tried to cover up what he meant and quickly left the room leaving Max confused – but determined to get the truth.

      He went home and started to quiz David about what Daniel meant.

      Max pressed his dad on what was going on, until David revealed to him exactly what happened.

      Fans are disgusted with Daniel for putting them in this position.

      Cain Dingle devastated as son Kyle goes missing after furious row

      In recent weeks, Cain has continuously feuded with Al, notably over the Woolpack, but things get more tense as Amy threatens to fight him for custody of their son if he continues to meddle in her life.

      While Al further antagonises the situation deliberately, Moira (Natalie J. Robb) tries to pacify Amy, telling her she will try to get through to Cain.

      She encourages the latter to turn his attention to Kyle and move past his feud with Al but Cain does not like the idea of Al moving into the same house as his son.

      Al is disappointed Amy and Cain eventually come to an agreement and plan to stick on their original visitation plan without involving any solicitors, despite his advice.

      He soon hatches a plan and, unbeknownst to everyone, gives Kyle his old phone.

      Cain then catches the young boy asking Vinny (Bradley Johnson) to get him a top up card from the shop.

      His rage boils over when he learns that Al gave Kyle the phone.

      But as his temper reaches new heights, Kyle runs away, leaving Cain devastated.

      This wouldn't be the first time Al tries to use Kyle against his rival.

      The scheming superbitch – played by Claire King in the ITV soap – struggled to get excited about her stepdaughter Dawn's wedding.

      On the latest instalment, Kim discovered that Dawn had picked a date for the wedding, but seemed to have other things on her mind.

      She later confided in her boyfriend Will Taylor as they sat at the dining table.

      However, ITV viewers were more distracted with the "blatantly fake" plastic fruit in Kim's bowl.

      One viewer wrote: "Are those fruits supposed to be real? Looks fake to me. #Emmerdale"

      Truth behind Dana Monroe’s pregnancy revealed

      In the latest instalment, Harvey spotted Dana’s pregnancy test and she was forced to come clean and tell him that it was a false alarm.

      Meanwhile, Peter was shocked to learn that Aaron was responsible for the bomb in the restaurant and warned Bobby to stay away from Dana.

      Disregarding his brother’s advice, Bobby went to see Kathy and revealed that he planned to propose to his ex-girlfriend Dana and wanted to borrow some money to buy an engagement ring.

      Determined to stop Bobby making a big mistake, Kathy told Peter about Bobby’s plan.

      Over at Walford East, Bobby got down on one knee in front of Dana as
      Harvey watched on.

      A shocked Dana admitted that she wasn't pregnant as Harvey urged the youngster to get up.

      A furious Kathy and Peter then stormed in and told her grandson that he can’t marry Dana after learning about Aaron's involvement in the far right terrorist group.

      Explaining what’s to come, Kel said: “Basically, Laura has found out she's got stomach cancer, and she's found out she's terminal. 

      “And within that time, she's done a lot of soul searching. And as a mum, it's taken something so tragic to happen to herself to make her realise what's important, and that her world is Kelly. 

      “She wants to make amends for all the wrongdoings. She doesn't know how much time she's got, and how long she's going to be around. 

      “But in all this time she's there, she wants to sort things out with her daughter, and she needs to get everything back on track.”

      Kel Allen reveals sadness at Laura Neelan bombshell

      The actress plays Laura Neelan in the ITV soap but her time is coming to an end with the character being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

      Speaking about her exit, Kel said: “I think for me, it's bittersweet – I guess Laura could have stayed around. But then what would have happened? 

      “She’d be up to her old tricks again. Every actor wants to get their teeth into something so gritty, and there's always twists and turns. 

      “For me, I'm excited for what's to come. I'll be so sad when I leave, because obviously, I've made so many bonds with everybody off set. 

      “It does sound extremely cliche when people say it's a family, but it genuinely is. I'll miss that, but we'll all still stay in touch. 

      “And I've still got quite a lot of time in the show yet.”

      Speaking on the White Wine Question Time podcast with Kate Thornton, Sally shared her frustrations about being criticised for doing a variety of different jobs within the industry – and said it wouldn't happen to her male co-stars.

      "You know… you've got someone like Bradley Walsh, who does everything, and everyone goes, 'Oh, that's amazing!'" she said. 'If you do it, they're like, 'Aren't you an actor though?' Yeah, yeah, I am, I'm a really good one, but I can do that as well."

      With Valentine's Day coming up, Sarah is thrilled when she receives a large bouquet of flowers in a vase and thanks Adam for his gesture.

      But Adam is baffled as the flowers she received didn't come from him.

      Fishing out the card, they are horrified by its message: "Next bouquet will be for your funeral."

      With their flat door deadlocked, both Sarah and Adam assume that whoever left the bouquet could still be there.

        The police officer – who is played by Colson Smith in the ITV soap – decided to cover up Faye Windass and Emma Brooker killing an old man.

        Awash with guilt and overwhelmed by the evidence piling up against her and Emma, Faye confessed to Craig that she was involved in Ted's death.

        After revealing to Faye (Ellie Leach) that the police was going to conduct another thorough search of Ted's house, the police constable returned to Ted's flat to retrieve his girlfriends fake nail.

        Craig then returned to the flat and told them to dispose of any clothes they were wearing when they knocked Ted over.

        He then dropped a bombshell that he had resigned from the police because he had broken his oath.

        ITV viewers have predicted that the storyline is far from over and that Craig's involvement could lead to him being investigated as a "bent copper".

        In a huge shake-up of its early evening output, ITV will now air a full hour of news from 6.30pm, pushing the soaps further into prime time.

        Emmerdale, which has a big year ahead celebrating its 50th birthday in 2022, will move to a 7.30pm slot.

        Coronation Street, the nation’s biggest soap, is to move to three hour-long episodes, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm.

        James normally keeps his Instagram to work, events and modelling shots.

        But he posted a story with the tot who was born in November.

        The couple, who have been together for 12 years, had spent the days leading up to their child’s birth practising yoga in a bid to bring on labour.
