Coronation Street: Daisy and Ryan have heart-to-heart in hospital
Over the last couple of weeks, Coronation Street residents Daisy Midgeley (played by Charlotte Jordan) and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) have been wrecked with worry as Justin Rutherford’s (Andrew Still) trial kicked off.
They recently got the outcome they were hoping for as Justing was found guilty and would be spending a long time in prison.
However, their worries were far from over as the day before the verdict took place Daisy leaned in and kissed Ryan in a private moment between the pair.
Ryan immediately pulled away and left Daisy feeling rejected and disappointed in the situation, before he told her they couldn’t be friends anymore.
On top of the guilt of kissing Ryan when she is engaged to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), Daisy has also been feeling guilty for pretending to be Crystal, Ryan’s recent fling.
Daniel actor Rob Mallard recently opened up about what is expected to come for the three Weatherfield residents and hinted at another love triangle.
He explained: “Daisy and Daniel hope for a guilty verdict and that would be a relief and a victory. It would signal the end of a chapter in their lives that they would rather forget.
“But as the trial ends, it’s the start of this triangle that now exists between Ryan, Daisy and Daniel.
“As much as he should be the one that’s on Daisy’s arm, he can’t also say, ‘Right Ryan, can you go away now?’.

“Daniel has to be sensitive to the severity of what happened between Daisy and Ryan. Daniel now has this awkward role of understanding why Daisy and Ryan are keeping each other around.
“While also wishing Ryan would just go away! We will see Daniel start to measure up aspects of himself to Ryan and there may be some butting of male egos…”
Will Daniel and Ryan fight it out to win the love of Daisy? Or will she leave them both in order for a fresh start?
Charlotte Jordan spoke about the upcoming drama recently at the British Soap Awards and teased: “There is going to be more drama, more conflict.
“I think Daisy is going to be very confused about her feelings, confused about a lot of things, probably going to make some more mistakes, probably going to lie some more.
“And it is probably going to blow up in her face at some point, it is going to be great.”
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
