Millie Gibson made a splash as soon as she arrived on the cobbles of Coronation Street as Kelly Neelan in 2019.
She was framed for the brutal murder of Seb Franklin last year and has since tried to turn her life around.
However, she was recently left heartbroken when she discovered her dad Rick Neelan had been murdered.
Her mum Laura Neelan, who sadly passed away during Friday's episode, took the blame for Gary Windass, who has been looking after the teenager.
ITV star Millie has become quite the hit off screen too and boasts over 105,000 followers on Instagram, thanks to some of the glam images she uploads to her grid.
As Kelly deals with the deaths of both her parents, Daily Star take a look at Millie's rise to fame and her life outside of Weatherfield.
Big break in kids' TV
The teenager's first screen role was in an episode of drama series Love, Lies And Records.
But her big break really came when she was cast in children's programme Jamie Johnson, which aired from 2017 to 2018.
The CBBC show followed the titular Jamie, a senior school pupil who was also a talented footballer.
Millie played Indira Cave, a teenager who seems to be a shallow gossip but ends up being much more.
After Jamie Johnson, Millie landed a part in ITV miniseries Butterfly.
It saw her sharing the screen with the likes of Anna Friel, Alison Steadman and Emmett J Scanlan.
Eyebrow scar
The actress has a small mark in one eyebrow and has shared that viewers tend to think she had it done to play Kelly.
However, that's not the case, as it's actually a scar from a childhood mishap.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, the star said: "Everyone thinks I have done it myself but no I was very young and on all my baby pictures I look like a right thug!
"But I fell down the stairs when I was a baby and it is just the hair has never grown back! But everyone thinks I have done it for the character, but I think it kind of works, especially for Kelly, but yes, everyone thinks I have done it myself!"
Corrie
Millie was cast as Kelly in 2019 and previously told the Mirror she thought her accent was part of her landing the role.
"There were lots of girls in the waiting room that looked nothing like me," she said.
"They were all quite well-spoken and I've got a bit of a Manc twang in my voice so I was a bit like, 'Oh no, am I going to have to play her in a different way?'
"But in the end I didn't because my take on Kelly was, while she was a private schoolgirl, I knew she did not quite fit in as the rest of them. So I think not having that well-spoken, posh put-together voice worked quite well."
Millie told OK! that getting a part in the ITV soap was "a dream" for her.
"It's the most surreal experience I've ever encountered, but it's an amazing honour to be a small piece of this amazing, big family on the cobbles," she said.
Glam snaps
Millie is also becoming a big thing on Instagram, where she regularly posts glamorous snaps of her day to day life.
She sent fans wild with one recent image of her enjoying a plate of yummy-looking spaghetti.
Her admirers flocked to the comments section to drop heart and flaming hot emojis after she uploaded the snap.
"Absolutely gorgeous!" declared one, while another said the actress was "just stunning".
Millie also shares snaps with her co-stars, including her on-screen rival Maxmus Evans, who played Corey Brent in the ITV soap.
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV at 8pm
