Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) rings Robert up while he's driving to tell him about the legal letter she had just received from Ray Crosby.
The businessman, played by Mark Frost, issued her a breach of confidentiality after she told Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) about his sleazy tendencies.
Listening to Michelle on the phone, Robert takes his eye off the road and ends up crashing the vehicle.
When there's silence on the end of the line, Michelle starts to panic and eventually tracks Robert down in the hospital.
