Gray notices a log in his car tracker from the previous week which indicates that the car had been taken to Stratford, but what he doesn’t know is that this was a result of Ben aving taken the vehicle from the garage. Therefore, he assumes that Chantelle is responsible for this mystery trip and thus concludes that she must be having an affair.
Gray advises Whitney to use the flashbacks that she’s been having to piece together a clear picture of what happened on the night in which Leo died — informing her that being able to do so could help her defence in the trial. Whitney becomes distressed as she does what he asks — giving him a derailed account — but she soon breaks down. Gray once again comes to her rescue —comforting her — but as he does so, she tries to kiss him.
