Dancing On Ice star Brendan Cole sparks controversy for ITV after liking post claiming Covid is a conspiracy

DANCING On Ice star Brendan Cole has sparked controversy for ITV after liking a post from an online account – that claims Covid is a conspiracy.

Former Strictly dancer Brendan, 45, backed a video on an Instagram account called Nuremberg 2.0, which he follows. He also liked a number of tweets in support of controversial Spotify host Joe Rogan.

In the video, a scientist called Dr Reiner Fuellmich claims there is a “very small group of people running the show from behind the scenes” when it came to the pandemic.

The bizarre account is calling for a “Grand Jury” dubbed Nuremberg 2.0 to prove “crimes against humanity” in relation to vaccinations.

The Nuremberg Code was created in Germany in 1947 after Nazi doctors were tried and executed for inhumane experiments on prisoners of concentration camps.

It set internationally recognised standards for medical treatment.

In December last year, Brendan appealed to his Instagram followers to attend a Freedom March in London to protest for freedom of choice over the jabs. He also liked a string of tweets last month from axed LBC radio host Maajid Nawaz, 44, supporting Rogan.

The US podcaster was forced to apologise last week after being accused of spreading Covid mis-information on his show.

An ITV spokesman said: “Dancing On Ice has stringent protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of all staff.”
