Disney Plus UK has been eagerly anticipated ever since the new streaming platform launched in the US last November. The platform promises a back catalogue of Disney classics, as well as some brand-new live-action series for viewers to enjoy. Here’s everything fans need to know about the cost and how to access the new platform.
How much does Disney Plus cost in the UK?
Viewers in the UK will finally get their hands on Disney+ when it launches on Tuesday, March 24 after much anticipation.
The new streaming platform will be making its European debut following its launch in the US back in November 2019.
Currently, Disney has a special offer, which will be available until midnight on March 23.
This means subscribers can pay for a one-year membership for just £49.99.

After this, the yearly subscription will cost £59.99 for new subscribers.
Fans can also pay for the service monthly, which will cost £5.99 per month.
If you are paying monthly, currently Disney’s policy is to allow viewers to cancel their subscription at any time.
However, new subscribers should refer to the Disney+ website for any updates to this.
At launch, the new platform will have a number of series for viewers to be able to stream straight away.
This includes the first two episodes of The Mandalorian, which is the first live-action Star Wars series.
After this, new episodes will be dropping weekly on Disney+ for viewers to watch.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will also be available to stream on the platform.
This is a documentary-style series, which follows students as they put on a musical version of High School Musical.

Other new shows include The World According To Jeff Goldblum, Encore! And Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
As well as a variety of series, there will also be plenty of films to stream from Disney, Marvel and Pixar.
Disney has also announced a number of Marvel television series, which it expects to launch over the next few years.
This will begin with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will star Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan.
WandaVision will see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return as the Scarlet Witch and Vision and Tom Hiddleston will also be returning in Loki.
Three more series called Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk are also all in pre-production.

How to download the Disney Plus app in the UK
As well as being available online, subscribers will also be able to stream Disney+ via the Disney+ app.
This will be available to download at just past midnight in the morning on March 24.
The app will be available for download on smart TVs, Xbox One, Android, iOS and PS4.
When the streaming platform goes live, the app should be available via searching on the app store of your chosen service.
