EASTENDERS fans have been floored by 'nonsensical' prices in Beale's Eels – and spot a huge double standard with other Walford shops.
The new establishment in the BBC soap has been opened by Ian and Cindy Beale along with Dean Wicks.
While the shop hasn't got off to the best start – with people refusing to eat there because of Dean and the fact he raped Linda Carter – some viewers also wonder if it's because of the business's prices.
Sharing a screenshot on X – formerly Twitter – the EastEnders fan wrote: "the price of drinks in Beale's Eels makes no sense.
"They're selling cans for £1.50, but Stacey's Baps sells them for £1 (and are literally parked right outside) and Suki sells them in the Minute Mart for around 70p (surprisingly cheap for the Minute Mart!)"
To prove their point, they also shared screenshots of the two other businesses with their prices.

The viewer then added in a further tweet that Ian was pricing himself out against his other business.
They wrote alongside a screenshot of the chip shop's price list: "did he check out the prices of the competition at all? even Beale's Plaice sells cans for £1."
Not only does Stacey's Baps sell cans of pop for £1, but viewers previously pointed out that her prices were so low it was no wonder she had been forced to turn to an OnlyFans-style website to earn more cash.
As Stacey was chatting to Eve Unwin in the food truck, her menu was on display behind her.

For an extra 30p, you can have a sausage and egg bap or even a BLT for just £2.20.
Taking to an online forum, EastEnders fans have pointed out this is the reason Stacey has had to join OnlyFans as a side-hustle.
One said: "No wonder Stacey has no money charging those prices. Did the programme makers not do any research, not even markets sell those things at that low prices any more, more like double that now."
A second wrote: "She's making up for it on only fans."
