EastEnders: Lola dies
In upcoming EastEnders scenes, Lola Pearce’s (played by Danielle Harold) former boss Denise Fox (Diane Parish) arranges a special tribute to her.
In official spoilers released by the BBC, Lola’s loved ones gather at the salon on what would have been her 27th birthday.
An emotional Denise unveils a plaque on Lola’s chair, dedicated to their lost friend.
Lola’s family are likely to be very touched by the sweet gesture.
Fans will remember Lola discovered last year she was suffering from a brain tumour.
She endured months of treatment to try to prolong her life but sadly, as the cancer spread it couldn’t be contained.
Lola’s family gathered at the end of May as she took her last breath, and while the beautician tried to make all the arrangements she could, things have been slightly chaotic at her home since she died.
Her young daughter Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) has understandably been struggling but managed to pay a special tribute to her mother at her funeral.
Lola’s husband Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) appeared to be falling apart after the funeral, unable to imagine a future without Lola.

Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) managed to step in and talk some sense into him, but little do the others know that Ben himself is facing his own ordeal.
Ben started displaying symptoms of an eating disorder shortly before Lola died.
He’s been seen binging food and rushing to make himself sick, but at the moment nobody close to him is aware.
Will he soon be able to open up to someone about the serious health struggle?
Perhaps seeing a tribute dedicated to Lola will encourage him to open up the way he used to with her.
It’s likely Jay will be struggling with it being Lola’s birthday though, so perhaps Ben will be preoccupied making sure the grieving husband is coping.
With Lexi adding to his list of responsibilities, will Ben’s eating disorder get worse before someone picks up on it?
EastEnders continues on Monday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
