EASTENDERS star Maisie Smith has been spotted letting her hair down with pals – just days after being caught smoking a spliff in her car.
Keen to put the incident firmly in the past, the 19-year-old soap actress was pictured cuddling up to her friends at a party over the weekend.
The Tiffany Butcher star appeared to be having the time of her life as she posed at the bash.
In one snap, Maisie is seen sticking her tongue as she leans in for a group shot.
While in a second, the star confidently pouts whilst sitting next to three friends, who all appear to be ignoring social distancing measures.
She wore a mesh top for the occasion, which she styled with a pair of black shorts.
The wild night follows shortly after the soap star was caught puffing away on a “strong smelling” rolled-up cigarette while behind the wheel of her car.
After finishing, she quickly drove off as a police car pulled into the area — a former waste tip.
An eyewitness said a strong smell seeped from the open window as Maisie and her friend spent 40 minutes parked up after arriving at 3.50pm on Sunday.
After initially stopping, the duo chatted for around 15 minutes, before moving the white VW golf to a more secluded corner.
They spent another seven minutes rolling the cigarette before smoking it — until a police car arrived at 4.30pm.
Moments later, Maisie drove away from the area on Two Tree Island, Essex — followed by cops.
An onlooker said: “Locals know this area as a spot for people having a smoke.
"She had the window open and the smell was really strong. I couldn’t believe she was doing it while driving.”
The actress quit Instagram after The Sun Online published the pictures, though she has since reemerged on TikTok.
Following the incident, fellow soap star Kym Marsh branded Maisie "very silly."
Kym wrote in her OK! magazine column: "This was a really silly thing to do. We all make mistakes and do things wrong, and hopefully this is something Maisie will learn from as she's only 19.
"You are an ambassador for your show, so you have to make sure you uphold its values. I can't imagine she will get away with it lightly."
