Tiffany Bucher (played by Maisie Smith) has found a short-cut to having her own home but it’s a dodgy con with serious implications. Will the beloved EastEnders resident’s ruse be uncovered by the council and could she face imprisonment for her scheme before she even has a chance to decorate?
Tiffany has been the wrong side of the law before, with her dealings in a drugs gang.
She ended up selling drugs and was even taken in by the police for questioning.
Her partner Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) suffered too, as he overdosed from drugs she had stashed away.
She eventually moved away from Walford for a short time to place her life back on track.

Her ordeal might have pushed her away from a life of selling narcotics, but the taste for cutting corners remains.
Tiffany had previously used the home of Ted Murray (Christopher Timothy) for drug-dealing, and now she’s using it for another purpose.
She moved into the flat with Keegan and made it into her home, with Ted long gone from the Square.
Now her way of saving cash on rent is in danger of being rumbled by the council.
Local authorities try to make contact with Ted, with Tiffany taking a call from them.
Flustered and fearful of this sweet deal ending, she tells a whopper and claims to be Ted’s wife.
Her lie isn’t hers alone to own, as she needs more people to flesh out her story.
Which leads to Tiffany dragging Keegan and Patrick Truman (Rudolph Walker) into her deception.

To prove to the council her story is legitimate, Tiffany, Patrick, and Keegan are all forced to play along with her narrative.
But will her scheme be unpicked by the local public servants?
She surely won’t be able to keep up the pretence that she is Ted’s wife for too long.
Could this result with Tiffany having another scrape with Walford CID, one which could end with a prison sentence?
