ED Sheeran is dressed as a stormtrooper in a new Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker teaser after The Sun revealed he had landed a secret cameo.
The 28-year-old singer appears to have confirmed his upcoming big screen moment as he appears in the iconic costume in the clip, which is thought to have been taken from a fan event.
The video is to promote the third film in the much-anticipated final Star Wars trilogy.
Ed can be seen wearing the full white suit but has ditched the famous Stormtrooper helmet, revealing his identity to all.
We revealed last December that Ed had landed his dream cameo in the movie, which hits out screens next month.
Following in the footsteps of Tom Hardy and Daniel Craig, he will be wearing the helmet during his scenes so fans won't know which one he is.
Prince William and Harry did the same in 2017's The Last Jedi, although John Boyega later said their scenes did not make the final cut.
Ed had been suiting up for scenes to appear in Episode IX in Pinewood Studios since August 2018, having previously landed a guest role in the season seven premiere of Game of Thrones.
His cameo was largely slammed by fans of the fantasy series at the time, with the singer playing a Lannister soldier in a brief forest scene.
He even showed off his singing talent by performing a song called Hands of Gold, taken from author George R.R. Martin's original books.
Showrunner David Benioff previously explained that they cast Ed as a surprise treat for Maisie, who played Arya Stark in the fantasy series and was a huge fan of the star.
He said at the time: "We knew that Maisie was a big fan of Ed Sheeran and for years we've been trying to get him on the show so we can surprise Maisie. This year we finally did it."
However, fans argued that Ed's appearance was unrealistic as they slammed the decision to include him in the series.
