Emmerdale' Michelle Hardwick has revealed a huge hint about who it may be that stabs her character, Vanessa Woodfield.
Spoilers have revealed Vanessa is set to be stabbed on tomorrow night's episode, after the Dingle pet pig was murdered last night.
While speaking to Loose Women, Michelle may have inadvertently given away a key clue to working out who it is that has terrorised her, after she talked about why Vanessa and Charity bicker in the first place.
Michelle was explaining the context for her stabbing, saying Charity and Vanessa are fighting about Belle Dingle, who has been stalked by tragedy after a mystery person started sending her horrendous things, so she goes to visit her ex, murderer Lachlan White, to get to the bottom of it.
In this argument between the pair, Michelle revealed Vanessa has been suggesting it "may be someone from her past," at which point the actress stopped in her tracks, looking awkward.
She continued by talking about the stabbing, but could it be that someone from Belle's past is responsible for more than just terrorising their prey?
Vanessa will find the assailant around the petrol bins by The Woolpack, and it looks as though they may be planning to set fire to the pub rather than cause any other problems – could it be a case of wrong place, wrong time?
Giving more details about the events to unfold, Michelle said: "We filmed that in November… it was absolutely chucking it down with rain and I spent the whole day lying in puddles, freezing.
"I knew this was happening as Jane Hudson our executive producer told me but I am one of these, I love getting my scripts and it's like reading a book and your excited to find out what’s happening next – I get excited by reading it."
While Michelle gave nothing away about whether her character would die, she did say she would hope someone would let her know if that's the case.
She added: "I’d like to think you’d be told, normally if you were coming to an end you would be brought upstairs!"
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm and again at 8pm on Thursdays on ITV.
