EX-EASTENDERS star Melissa Suffield reckons a family that matches outfits – especially denim – is a happy family.
The new mum posted a picture of herself, five-day-old son River and fiancé Robert Brendan, 37, all wearing matching denim shirts.
"The family that denims together, stays together," the 26-year-old wrote on Instagram
Melissa, who played Lucy Beale in the BBC1 soap has been very honest about life as a mum after giving birth.
She recently defended posting a picture of River's poo, which she thought look heart shaped.
"Out of nappy wee. Heart shaped poo. Epic chunder to celebrate milk coming in cluster feeding day."
The mum-of-one also posted a video of her breast pump machine as she watched the telly on Saturday afternoon.
"Am a dairy cow today," she wrote on her Instagram story.
Melissa and Robert welcomed River into the world on March 16.
Announcing their happy news on Instagram, Melissa wrote: "River Jefferson Carter-Robinson. 16.03.2020.
“What a perfect little human we appear to have made. We could not be more obsessed with you.”
The couple met in 2017 while performing in a production of Beauty and the Beast together.
The romance has since gone from strength to strength, with the loved-up couple buying a house together earlier this year.
In July, the star announced that she is engaged on her social media page, sharing a snap of her dazzling diamond ring and the caption: “#ISaidYaass @mrrobertbrendan.”
In September, The Sun Online revealed that was expecting her first child with Robert.
Melissa previously shot to fame playing Ian Beale's daughter Lucy in EastEnders between 2004 and 2010, joining the soap at the age of 11.
She was the third actress to put their face to Ian Beale's only daughter in 'Enders, but became the first recognisable star to take on the role and appeared as a series regular for six years.
Producers axed her from the show nine years ago after being caught boozing underage – just weeks before her 18th birthday.
