Heather tells James to ‘get over it’ after Claire’s scoring
The Channel 4 staple sees B&B owners testing out each other’s businesses before scoring each one. In the end, one is crowned the winner. On Wednesday, the B&Bers headed to The Swan Inn in Hertfordshire on the daytime favourite. Four in a Bed hosts and best friends Luke and Heather tried their best to impress the guests, but fellow hotel owner Claire refused to spend another night at the guest house. As they read through Claire’s comments, Heather ordered a nervous Lee to “get over it”.
The couple received relatively positive feedback, but the lack of a hot breakfast left some guests unimpressed.
Luke and Heather offered a continental breakfast, but the other hoteliers were keen to tuck into a full English.
The pair hosted the third visit of the week, and were hoping to achieve rave reviews.
However, the visitors didn’t hold back in their criticism of the breakfast.
As they trawled through the remarks, the pair were surprised by the criticism.
“We do try to go the extra mile,” Luke remarked as he read aloud: “‘Radiator and clothes rail needs a rethink.’
“Well, the room is slightly smaller, we’ve had to put the clothes rail alongside the shower.”
On the breakfast feedback, he added: “I totally respect that he would like a cooked option but that doesn’t work for us commercially.”
Claire admitted while scoring the B&B that she wouldn’t stay again.
Reading the feedback to Lee, Heather narrated: “‘How did you sleep… 8.’ That’s a shame, isn’t it?”
Continuing to voice Claire’s written comments, she went on: “‘For the price, I would expect higher quality bedding.'”
“I do think that’s being a bit picky,” Luke confessed. Before turning the page to reveal whether Claire would stay again or not, Luke couldn’t hide his nerves.

“I’ve got butterflies again, I’ll be really sad if she doesn’t want to come back,” he stated.
“Oh, get over it!” Heather hit back before quickly unveiling the result.
“No, she’s not going to stay…” Heather informed her business partner.
“I’m quite surprised because she scored us very well,” Luke pointed out.
Speaking afterwards, he added: “Overall I’m happy with the feedback – there are some issues that I would like to address…”
“But we can address those issues on payment day,” Heather reminded him.
“Bring it on,” Lee added enthusiastically. Payment day sees the owners addressing and questioning feedback they received as well as learning how much each guest would be willing to pay for their stay.
Claire has been vocal throughout the weekend about criticisms she had, so it’s safe to assume she will face a grilling.
Four in a Bed continues on Thursday at 5pm on Channel 4.
