RADIO personality Gemma Atkinson has spoken about whether she fears the Strictly curse.
She is currently engaged to Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez and they share two children together.
The pair previously spent long periods of time apart whilst he trained for the BBC primetime competition with his celebrity partner, Nikita Kanda.
Podcast host Gemma, 38, admitted she was looking forward to the weekend when they were to be reunited at the Pride Of Britain Awards after long weeks of rehearsals.
Ahead of the ceremony, she said at the time: "I will be seeing Gorka, though, for the first time in four weeks, which will be nice."
However the star has admitted that despite the time spent away from each other, she's not worried about the suspected 'curse'.

When asked if she has any 'anxiety' when Gorka is away, she told The Metro: "Oh gosh, no! The only worry for me is where his partner is based.
"He could be doing a rumba with Miss World for all I care, as long as she lives up north and he can come and help me with the school run after rehearsals!
"I think if we were together all day, every day, 24/7, we'd probably hate it.
"It's been like that for our whole relationship, so I guess it probably works because of that, we don't know any different, really."

She added: "I'm great on my own and Gorka's great on his own, and together it's like the perfect cherry on the top.
"I always think the reason our relationship is so good, and that after six years it's still like brand new, is because we're together because we want to be."
Despite the infamous curse, she has always encouraged her fiance to have 'chemistry' with his various celebrity dance partners.
He has previously taken to the floor – and reached the final – with the likes of Helen Skelton, Alexandra Burke and Maisie Smith.
And the star can admit that as a former competitor, celebrities have to appear 'passionate' in order to get the best scores and do well in the competition.
She explained: “I remember when I had to dance the rumba with Aljaž. Everyone said, ‘You have to look into his eyes and get close,’ and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is awful!’.
"But the dance looked rubbish because I didn’t do it.
"So then I remember saying to Helen [Skelton], ‘You’ve got to be passionate with Gorka, that’s part of the dance.’ I’m always rooting for them to have chemistry!”
