Gordon Ramsay sobs in audience as daughter Tilly tops the Strictly leaderboard

Gordon Ramsay was left in tears watching his daughter Tilly perform an incredible Charleston on Strictly Come Dancing.

So cute!

The TV chef was in the audience for the first time as he watched Tilly, 19, absolutely smash the dance with her partner Nikita Kuzmin.

He could be seen wiping away tears as Tilly received a standing ovation.

The judges were impressed with Tilly’s second dance, with Anton Du Beke saying he ‘really, really enjoyed’ it and Shirley Ballas dubbing her a ‘powerhouse’.

The pair ended up topping the leaderboard, receiving an incredible score of 34.

They joined Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies and her partner Aljaz Skorjanc, who received the same score for their Foxtrot.

Gordon previously took no time in scolding Tilly’s partner Nikita when they were paired up on the show, after he noticed his unbuttoned shirt.

When the pair were introduced, the pro dancer came knocking on her door, and Tilly revealed: ‘When I opened the door and saw Nikita it gave me a huge adrenaline rush, I’m so happy to be paired with him.’

Nikita, 23, also shared that he was ‘secretly wishing’ for the CBBC presenter as he said that they were ‘both buzzing with energy’ upon introduction.

Dad Gordon was keen to be kept up with developments though and FaceTimed his daughter to be introduced to her partner.

Yes Sir! The Charleston is definitely Tilly and Nikita’s dance 😍 #Strictly pic.twitter.com/3GqxfONmGB

After a quick ‘Uh-oh, it’s Dad’, Tilly made the introductions.

Gordon appeared to be on his best behaviour, as he began: ‘Congratulations! Good luck to you both.’

The next thing out his mouth though, almost instantly?

‘Nikita, can you do your shirt up?’

The pro dancer was only too happy to quicky comply (smart move) as Tilly groaned and finished the call with: ‘Okay, it’s time to go!’

Oh Gordon!

Strictly Come Dancing returns Sunday at 7:05pm on BBC One.
