This Morning star Holly Willoughby has paid a gushing tribute to her ITV colleague Dr. Uchenna Okoye in the wake of her unexpected death.
Dr. Uchenna Okoye passed away on Friday (September 15) after succumbing to an abrupt illness.
Taking to Instagram last night, the morning show co-host honored her late colleague by reposting the original message from Dr. Uchenna's family.

With a heavy heart, Holly conveyed her sentiments to her followers, remarking: "It is with deep sadness that I hear of the passing of @druchennaokoye. We first collaborated many moons ago with @oralb_uk, and she showed immense kindness to me… and then, of course, our paths crossed again, with her offering guidance on @thismorning. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family."
The late star, who often appeared on ITV show This Morning and 10 Years Younger in 10 Days, is survived by her daughter. The news of the doctor's death was confirmed via her Instagram account, with her loved ones sharing a picture of Dr. Uchenna and breaking the sad news.
Dr Uchenna held the distinction of being one of the select dentists who held membership in both the esteemed American and British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
The family statement continued: "The Uchenna sparkle touched the lives of everyone she met and drew her into stardom on ‘10 Years Younger’ makeover show, followed by ’10 Years Younger in 10 Days’ where her passion and compassion leaps off the screen.
"For the last twenty years, her deep knowledge of dentistry and her incredible chair-side manner made her the ‘go-to’ spokeswoman for any dental issue and a popular contributor to radio, TV, and women’s consumer press."

Additionally, the distinguished professional served as an honorary clinician at London's St George's Hospital and held a pivotal role on the board of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Tributes poured in from her friends, colleagues and fans, with one writing: "Our wonderful Uchenna – it’s so sad.
"Vibrancy, kindness, generosity and love were in her soul and those of us who knew her adored her and her beautiful daughter.
"Condolences to Uchenna’s loving family," penned a fan.
Another person added: "Beautiful Uchenna! An industry beacon who quickly became a friend to many of us.
“So warm, generous and funny. Sending condolences to her family and friends."
A third person wrote: "Such devastating news. She was such a vital and inspiring woman, and so passionate about her work. Sending much love to her family."
