Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan was gearing up to celebrate another one of her daughter’s birthdays on Wednesday and revealed she was feeling the party planning pressure.
The 32-year-old soap actress explained that her child Matilda was turning eight and the mum-of-three was hosting a birthday bash in celebration at her home.
She filmed herself wandering around her garden and shared the preparations with her Instagram story as they unfolded throughout the morning.
After recording a video of a white bouncing castle that had her eldest child’s name printed in fuschia lettering across the back wall, Helen revealed her stresses about the last minute-ness of her plans.
The star appeared on social media fresh-faced and wore her blonde hair pinned up out of her face.
She kept the rainy weather at bay by wearing a bright orange crew neck jumper and launched into her account of the morning’s antics.
Helen shared: ‘Today is Matilda’s party prep and I’ve literally not even had a shower. I’m not exactly the most organised mum!’
The next slide showed her hairstylist Kelvin Barron cleaning the star’s garden furniture as they prepared to welcome a gaggle of Matilda’s friends to mark her turning eight.
Following the wipe down of the garden table, Helen and her friend had a giggle as the hair professional lost control of a hosepipe and drenched himself in water.
Helen recently celebrated her other daughter Delilah’s fifth birthday and posted a plethora of adorable photos to commemorate the day she was born.
Alongside the heartwarming snaps, she added a caption that read: ‘Happy 5th Birthday to my beautiful amazing baby Delilah so proud to be your mummy, keep shining, always here to hold your hand love you more than anything [sic].’
Helen shares her three children – Matilda, eight, Delilah, five, and two-year-old Charlie – with her ex-fiance and professional footballer Scott Sinclair.
The Rosie Webster actress split from her former partner in November 2022 but remains on good terms with him as they co-parent their brood together.
She proved things were moving in a positive direction after she shared a loving Father’s Day tribute to Scott earlier this month.
The star posted a collection of images on that day that also featured one of her ex and their children featuring a caption that read: ‘Happy Father’s Day to my dad love you and Happy Father’s Day @scotty__sinclair the kids love you so much [sic].’
