Holly Willloughby celebrates her final This Morning show of 2019 amid tensions with Phillip Schofield – The Sun

HOLLY Willoughby celebrated her final This Morning show of 2019 amid tensions with Phillip Schofield.

The 38-year-old shared a picture of herself dancing and smiling broadly in a red dress before going on air this morning.

She wrote alongside it: “Final day of term before we break up for Christmas… so obviously I’ve dressed as Mrs Santa Claus …”

Her excited demeanour comes after The Sun revealed her professional relationship with Phillip has become strained in recent months.

The feud between them began when she won a Bafta award for hosting last year's I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here! alongside Declan Donnelly.

Holly filled in for Ant McPartlin in 2018 after he took a break from TV commitments following a battle with alcohol and prescription drugs.

But according to an ITV source Phillip, 57, didn't want Holly to celebrate or mention her victory.

Things also escalated when Holly wanted Phil to stop posting social pictures of her guzzling alcohol on his social media, but was too nervous to ask him, so she opted to do it via the management company they share.

Eight star ITV presenters have also spoken about what they describe as a “toxic” environment on the show while Ruth Langsford has made an official complaint against Phillip.

For her part Holly has insisted it would be "impossible" to stay on This Morning if she didn't get on with Phillip.

Putting on a brave face at the Dancing on Ice 2020 launch earlier this week, Holly told the BBC: "You couldn't do the amount of hours of TV that we do with each other without getting on."

Her co-star Phil then denied there was a feud, adding anyone who thought that "was mistaken".

He said: "We have such a laugh. We're best mates, she's like the sister I never had. I just adore working with her, she's just perfect."
