HOLLYOAKS today gave fans the first look at Richard Blackwood's character Felix Westwood.
The 47-year-old ex-EastEnders actor was described by the Channel 4 soap as a "smooth talker" who will "set out to woo many of the ladies in the village".
The Sun Online revealed the former MTV star had joined Hollyoaks in January, with his first scenes due to air later this month.
He returns to try and reconnect with estranged children, Mitchell, Celeste and Toby and their mum Martine Deveraux, played by Loose Women's Kelle Bryan.
Richard left Eastenders, where he played Vincent Hubbard, in 2018 after the soap failed to renew his contract.
However, he went to to appear on Dancing On Ice, where he paired with Carlotta Edwards and was eliminated in the second public vote.
His Hollyoaks character Felix returns to the dysfunctional family in the midst of a shocking triplets storyline.
Toby and Celeste revealed earlier this month that they were experimented on by a sick doctor before being adopted.
The pair have been determined to get revenge on birth mother Martine Devereaux after she gave them up but kept their brother Mitchell.
Toby told Martine: “We were an experiment for some twisted book – The Red Door. My sister was taken care of, cared for, loved, I was the lab rat.
“We communicated like this – tap tap tap – we knew we weren’t meant to be together so we developed it. Necessity is the mother of invention.”
He then told Martine that his sister had died and Martine walked out in shock.
One viewer tweeted: "I am SO gripped by this Toby/Celeste/Mitchell storyline that I’d happily watch it unfold as a six-part TV drama. Proper hour-long episodes."
