FAYE Winter went from being the most complained about contestant in Love Island history to becoming one of its most popular stars.
Her outburst at partner Teddy Soares after Movie Night attracted 25,000 Ofcom complaints from furious fans – but she won their hearts and a place in the final after turning things around.
Despite not making it as far as brutally watching back footage in front of co-stars, Jacques O'Neill faces backlash from the public for how he treated Paige Thorne in Casa Amor.
He went from being a firm fan favourite with a likely spot in the final to being viciously trolled online for kissing Cheyanne Kerr behind Paige's back.
Last night he chose to walk out of the villa after admitting he was finding the experience too tough – just 24 hours after bombshell Adam Collard arrived.
Reflecting on Jacques' departure in an exclusive interview with The Sun, Faye has opened up about what the 23-year-old should expect in the days after leaving the villa.

Faye said: "Jacques will have been kept in holding until his exit from the show aired.
"He then has to sit down with the media team who will go through everything that's been gone on on the outside.
"He'll then meet with welfare and psychologists."
She added: "Leaving the show is one thing, but leaving with this kind of backlash is another.

"Everyone preaches to 'be kind', but there are always going to be some who want to send nasty messages.
"To come out and have so much backlash… for one person to take that on is a lot."
Having been through the ordeal of being cast as the show villain, Faye admits she couldn't stop crying or get out of bed after discovering the hate she'd received.
After seeking help from a therapist, Faye worked on building herself back up. A year on she's happier than ever in a long-term relationship with Teddy and will be back on-screen next month in Celebrity MasterChef.
"People need to remember people's mental health", Faye insists.
"It's fine to have an opinion, but when it becomes nasty to the point of threatening someone – that's not OK.
"Whatever he's done doesn't mean he deserves for the backlash to continue.
"People have to be very, very careful. You might think you're only one person making a comment, but you're one of thousands. That's really hard for one person to take on and it gets in your head.
"No one can understand how it can affect one person to come out with that amount of hate. It's a very dark place.
"You either see the light at the end of the tunnel, or you spiral. I never suffered with my mental health before going on Love Island. Now I see another side of it since coming out.
"Everything about the show is great, apart from the trolls, but trolls won't stop, it'll never stop. You have to have a very thick skin to cope with it."
The philanthropist – who volunteers as a Campaign Star for Guide Dogs – has been backing Paige throughout the series.
Despite Jacques' sudden departure, Faye hopes she'll stay in the villa.
"Paige deserves a chance," the reality star added.
"She went on the show to find someone and has been through a lot of heartbreak
"Jacques took the opportunity to get to know someone else and have that test. She deserves that too.
"Someone might come in and sweep her off her feet or it might make her realise how strong her feelings are for Jacques. I really want her to give herself the opportunity to discover that.
"If it is Jacques, then good on her if she can learn to trust him again and move forward with it."
Faye has privately offered her support to Jacques since he quit the villa – and warns him to stay off Twitter for good.
"I've reached out to Jacques," she added.
"When I saw he was leaving, I sent his team on his Instagram a message saying me and Teddy's Instagram inbox is always open.
