I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is expected to return to screens next month with another bunch of celebrities heading to the Australian outback.
Ant McPartlin will be back to host alongside television partner Declan Donnelly after taking a year away and being replaced by Holly Willoughby.
Harry Redknapp was crowned king of the jungle last December after beating Emily Atack and John Barrowman in the final.
But who will be following in their footsteps this year? Find out who’s rumoured to enter the jungle below.
Nadine Coyle
Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has reportedly signed up to take part in the show following her split from partner Jason Bell.
A source told The Sun: “Nadine is a big name and ITV was keen to get her.
“It’s no secret there’s no love lost between [her and Cheryl], and Nadine is refreshingly honest about what went on from her perspective.
“And I’m A Celebrity could well be the start of something big again for her.”
Lucy Fallon
Lucy Fallon is thought to be swapping the cobbles for the jungle after quitting Coronation Street earlier this year.
She was reported to have been approached by both Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor: Celebrity, but decided she’d prefer to head Down Under.
A source told The Sun: “Lucy is bubbly, funny, down-to-earth and game for a challenge, so she is a great fit for I’m A Celebrity.
“She had conversations last year about taking part but said, ‘Thanks, but no thanks.’
“This year, she told them she feels the timing is right. Bosses are delighted to have her on board and are sure she will be a big hit with fans at home and her campmates.”
Roman Kemp
Capital FM presenter and the son of Martin and Shirlie Kemp, Roman Kemp, is also thought to be heading into the outback.
A source told The Sun: “Roman is a fun, loquacious young star and a super-well-connected.
“He must have countless showbiz tales about his pals.”
The insider continued of his late Godfather, George Michael: “If he chose to reminisce about George, that could be quite emotional.”
Olivia Attwood
Love Island legend and The Only Way Is Essex newcomer Olivia Attwood revealed herself that she had met with bosses about entering the jungle.
She told Daily Star: “There have been conversations with I’m A Celebrity. It’s ongoing.
“It would be my dream to do the jungle. I’ve made no qualms about that. It’s such an iconic show.”
Discussing her stint on spin off show Extra Camp last year, she continued: “Going out there gave me a taste for it. I got to do a trial, which was amazing.”
Alan Halsall
Alan Halsall has been widely tipped to star on this year’s series of the ITV show after seemingly dropping a major hint back in September.
The Coronation Street star posted a photo of himself wearing workout gear, a backpack and boots while sat on a rock next to a body of water and surrounded by greenery.
Alan tagged the location as “somewhere in the middle of nowhere,” and teased fans about going on I’m A Celebrity as he wrote in the caption: “……..it’s a jungle out there,” along with a caterpillar and winking emoji.
Duncan James
Blue singer Duncan James is thought to be following in the footsteps of bandmate Simon Webbe who took part in I’m A Celebrity in 2008.
A source told The Sun: “Duncan has been approached in the past for I’m A Celebrity but the timing wasn’t right — until now.
“With his good looks and personality, he is the perfect fit for the jungle.
“Producers also think he could be telly gold because he will have to face his phobias head-on. The best camp-mates are the ones who have to overcome their fears — and Duncan has told them he is game for anything.
“Some of his mates think he is totally crazy to go in there, but he has told them the pay packet will make it worthwhile.”
Ian Wright
Former footballer Ian Wright was one of the first names rumoured to be taking part in the new series, with his name first being brought up in June.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Ian would be a massive signing for ITV who’ve been keen to get him Down Under for a while.
“After watching Harry Redknapp win the last series, Ian has decided he would be up for giving it a whirl.
“He’s been offered a six figure sum to take part. Ian’s not afraid of much but has joked to his pals he’ll be useless at the eating tasks because he’s so fussy.”
James Haskell
Former rugby player and Chloe Madeley’s husband is also believed to be in talks to head Down Under.
A source told The Sun in August: “Producers think James would be a great addition.
“They have made him a decent offer and are hopeful he will sign up.
“Being a top-class sportsman means he’ll be full of stories of the dressing room and what goes on behind closed doors.
“They also hope he’ll shed light on having Richard and Judy as his in-laws — and his friendship with Prince Harry.”
Myles Stephenson
The X Factor winner Myles Stephenson has reportedly had meetings with ITV producers about joining the show after his split from Love Island star Gabby Allen.
A source told The Sun: “Myles is a free agent now and so he can’t wait to go to Australia and get away – it’s a physical and mental challenge and he’s really looking forward to testing himself.
“It’s exactly the fresh start he needs right now after the split with Gabby got messy. It’s also one of the biggest shows on TV and he’s very lucky to have been chosen for it.”
Ulrika Jonsson
Television presenter Ulrika Jonsson is widely tipped to join the show, and said herself that her children are “really excited” that she has been rumoured.
A source told The Sun in August: “Ulrika has been through a lot in the past few years. And now that she is getting divorced she feels the time is right for a new challenge.
“The Australian jungle certainly fits that description. And she knows that if she signs, it will be the first of many new TV contracts coming her way.
“Ulrika is keen to throw herself back into her presenting work full time and she feels that this could be the right first step for her.”
When grilled on the rumours during a recent appearance on Loose Women, Ulrika said: “Yes the rumour made its way to me as well somebody said and my kids were really excited and I said, 'Couldn't I do something like Strictly?'
“And they went, 'No, that's for old people, which is rude, but no, I don't know anything about the jungle, hate to dispel that myth.”
