I’m A Celeb: Josie Gibson arrives in Australia
Josie Gibson has admitted that being away from her beloved son Reggie will be one of her hardest challenges during I’m A Celebrity.
The This Morning presenter, who was the third star to land in Australia for the ITV jungle show, said that even the very thought of not being able to speak to her five-year-old has been emotional.
“It’s going to be tough,” she said. “I am worried about not having any contact with him. He is so excited though.”
Before she landed in Oz, Josie also spoke about her struggles with leaving Reggie for the reality TV show.
In a video on her way to the airport, she said: “The rumours are true, I am heading to the jungle. I have just arrived at Heathrow airport now.

“I have said an emotional goodbye to Reggie and I keep thinking to myself ‘What have I done? What have I signed up for?’. I am just hoping I am a survivor.
“Thank you for all your support, I just hope I can get through this because I cannot stand creepy crawlies, I don’t like heights, I don’t like rats, I don’t like snakes, so wish me luck.”
Asked what she’ll miss the most as she landed in Oz, she said: “Obviously my little boy, it was really emotional saying goodbye. I can’t talk about it, it’s too emotional.”
She also joked that she would be using her time in the jungle as an opportunity to relax.

The 38-year-old will make her I’m A Celebrity debut alongside the likes of the controversial Nigel Farage and Britney Spear’s sister, Jamie Lynne Spears.
She also said she has looked to her fellow colleagues as she revealed Alison Hammond has been giving her advice.
“I know she will be rooting for me,” added Josie. “She has told me to try my hardest. Everyone at This Morning says I am going to love it. In fact, they are the ones who have really enticed me to do it! They are very supportive and I am going to miss them all.”
Josie’s comments come after many former guests and hosts made accusations about a “toxic” atmosphere on the set of the hit daytime show.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns November 19 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
