Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard has become the fourth contestant eliminated from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after a public vote.
Nick is the fourth star to leave the show the jungle show after jockey Frankie Dettori, Nella Rose and First Dates star Fred Sirieix.
Nick found himself in the bottom two with This Morning host Josie Gibson. After he was announced as the star with the fewest votes, he said: "I love you guys" and hugged his campmates.
The 48 year old has been playing Tony Hutchinson on Hollyoaks since 1995.
His exit comes after he, along with JLS singer Marvin Humes and former boxer Tony Bellew took part in the Critter Mixer trial, which involved them answering questions while being spun around.
They returned to camp having won six out of seven possible stars.
Speaking to Ant and Dec, Nick said he was happy to be out of camp.
With a grin, he said: "It's great, I am not going to lie. It has been amazing but after the second week it is really tough."
Of going on the show, he explained: "For me it was my family, my niece, my nephew, my daughter, my girlfriend, everyone wanted me to do it for years and I've never been asked before. So, to be honest, it was an honour to be asked. That was the reason I did it, I know who I am."
Asked whether he struggled with a lack of food, he said: "There was only one day when we had no stars. So there was always something to work with and the mealtime is when everyone comes together and you sit down, you salivate and so you get over it."
Nick also said he was "going to have everything" for breakfast now he was out.
Asked who he wanted to win, he said: "I think I want Sam to win because he deserves it and he really wants to win. He is the lifeblood of the camp."
Nick's exit comes after Fred Sirieix, 51, was voted out on Tuesday night after coming into conflict with other contestants in camp over cooking duties and was also told he was “forcefully” putting himself up for bushtucker trials in Tuesday’s episode.
He told presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly that he had to interfere with Josie making the meals in camp as there was “a lot at stake with the food” and “she’s just making it up as she goes along”.
Claiming Josie was not keeping leftovers to eat later, Fred added: “You really need the calories and you’ve to find out where you can.”
Responding to accusations he was taking over the trials, he said: “Well, I think that’s because I wasn’t voted by the public to do any trials.
“Yeah, I think it was fair and we discussed it before.”
Fred has since revealed he got a “telling off” from his mother over the “unacceptable” way he spoke to Josie.
Speaking to This Morning hosts Rylan Clark and Emma Willis about the jungle’s cooking situation, Fred said: “In all fairness, the meals that Josie cooked were good, they were good to very good.
“She could cook the meal on the day. What I was concerned with is how she was able to use and recycle the bones and other vegetables and other peels in order to prepare a stock so that we could improve the day after. That’s it.
“But this morning, I spoke to my mom. She called me because she knew I was out. And she said to me “Frederick”, you know when she calls me Frederick, it is because she’s upset.
“‘Frederick what did you do with Josie? Why were you standing on the top there and telling her what to do? What was going through your mind?’
“I got a telling off from my mum,” he said.
“I said, ‘Mum, it’s because’… (and she responded) ‘Frederick I don’t want to listen to you. This is unacceptable. You can’t do that. And I don’t want you to do this again today’.
“I said ‘Mum, what do you mean?'”
He told the ITV1 programme: “She did not understand I was not in the jungle, that I was out, that it’s a game, and that because of the way everything is edited and the story is told, that I’m out of the story and and I had to explain to her…
“I said, ‘Mum, I’m not in the jungle so I’m not going to do it… I promise you I am not going to do it again. Next time Josie is cooking, I will sit down and say nothing’.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues Wednesday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
