Nella Rose became the second contestant to leave I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this week, after spending 17 days in the jungle. Over the course of her time in camp, the YouTube sensation enjoyed plenty of highs and lows, and struck up some close friendships and bonds with her fellow celebrities.
However, the 26 year old also found herself at the centre of some dramas, including her infamous clash with First Dates star Fred Sirieix.
Following her departure from the jungle, Nella has finally addressed the feud between her and Fred while speaking to hosts Emma Willis and Rylan Clark on today's episode of This Morning.
At the beginning of their time in camp, Nella and Fred got into a disagreement when the French maître d'hôtel said that he was old enough to be her dad. The following morning, Nella let Fred know that his comment had triggered her due to the fact that she had lost both her parents, and the topic is still very raw to her.
While the First Dates star apologised for unknowingly hurting her, Nella was unable to resume her previous positive feelings about Fred. Following the altercation, Nella decided to take a step back and refrain from interacting with the 51 year old over the next few episodes.
However, while keeping in mind that viewers don't see or hear everything that goes on in the jungle – we only see certain bits and hear certain soundbites – Rylan brought up the issue during his chat with Nella.
"There was that moment with you and Fred, you had that heated argument about the dad chat, have you managed to watch that back yet?" he asked the YouTuber.
Nella then revealed that she hasn't had the chance to watch everything back but she knows what's gone on and everything that's happened on the outside. Dubbing the 'feud' as a "big fat misunderstanding," she insisted that she and Fred have "gone over it" since they've both left the jungle.
"Me and Fred are cool, everything is blessed," she told Emma and Rylan before adding with a giggle: "I don't know why everybody's still crying about it."
"But I understand – it's TV, it's life," she stated.
Emma chimed in on the discussion further, suggesting that the initial reason for the "misunderstanding" could be to do with the jungle environment.
"It's probably the situation and the scenario that you're in as well. You're in a confined space with a lot of people you don't know and little things can trigger you," she offered.
Nella agreed with Emma's comments, explaining that "when you're in the jungle, everything is intensified."
"Obviously that subject is very triggering for me because it's kind of like a fresh wound, but being inside of the jungle all events are intensified and it is what it is," she concluded.
