Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova discuss Strictly return
Strictly Come Dancing star Kai Widdrington made his mark on the BBC show last year after making it to the final with AJ Odudu.
However, their victory wasn’t meant to be because the couple had to pull out of the series due to AJ’s injury.
Tonight, Kai will make a return to screens with his new dance partner – Angela Rippon – who is the show’s oldest contestant.
Last year, Kai’s age seemed to be the hot topic of conversation as many couldn’t believe how old he was.
The comments flew in after Kai’s dad made an appearance in the audience to support his son.

How old is Kai Widdrington?
Kai was born on August 23, 1995, which would make him 28 years old.
The dancer is currently dating his Strictly co-star Nadiya Bychkova, who is 34 years old.
The duo began their romance following last year’s series and often keep their social media followers updated about their day-to-day lives.
While Kai is partnered with Angela for the upcoming series, his girlfriend has been left without a celebrity pairing.

Despite being gutted not to be featured in the line-up, Nadiya said she feels blessed after her fans flooded her with support.
“I’m sure you’ll understand that I’m disappointed not to be partnered with a celebrity on Strictly this series,” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“It is an amazing show to be a part of and I’m still so excited for all the group numbers, performing with some of our music acts and much much more.” (sic)
She then commented on her own post adding: “I’m also looking forward to supporting my fellow pros and I want to wish all the couples the best of luck for the competition this year.”
Tonight, Kai and Angela will be dancing to the song, Get the Party Started by Shirley Bassey.
Sharing an update about their training has been going on Instagram, Angela said: “There are bits of me aching that I didn’t know I had.”
Kai laughed as he added: “I’ll leave that to the imagination. How are we feeling about our dance? We can’t tell them what it is though.”
She replied: “I’m enjoying doing it and I’m fine when I get the bits right, but I get very angry with myself when I absolutely muck it up and do it wrong.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 6.15pm on BBC One.
