A LEGENDARY BBC series is getting two Netflix spin-off series according to reports.
The streaming giant is said to be currently planning the new shows based on the smash-hit Peaky Blinders.
Fans were left devastated when the BBC show, which starred Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Sam Neill, Paul Anderson and the late Helen McCrory, came to an end in 2022.
The period drama followed a gang in Birmingham in the aftermath of the first World War.
But Bloomberg report Netflix bosses want the story to continue, with two new spin-offs said to be in the pipeline.
The website added that one series could be “set in Boston during the middle of the 20th century” decades after Peaky Blinders.

It comes as Cillian Murphy previously declared he would return to the series.
The Irishman said: “I’m totally open to the idea, but I also do think it was a kind of perfect six seasons.
"It’s sometimes hard to move into the film format, and I do like the ambiguity of the ending, but I’m always open to a great script, who wouldn’t be?”
While nothing is official right now, it is confirmed that a sequel movie is in the works.

Show creator Steven Knight recently shared an update with fans, revealing his is making the finishing touches to the script.
In a further exciting update, Knight added that shooting should begin in 2024.
He told Radio Times: "I’m just working on the final bits of it at the moment.
"I just sit down at the keyboard and start. It’s a bit like having a dream, for me. You sit there and all this stuff comes, and then you read it back and think, 'That’s pretty good – but where did it come from?'
