Are Molly and Mitchel coming to an end – watch the Love Island Trailer
Love Island fans weren’t upset with the result however, they were more annoyed with the coverage of Molly Marsh.
Over the last couple of nights, the coverage has been dominated by Molly and Mitchel Taylor’s relationship as it seemed the pair weren’t on the same page.
After bombshells Zachariah Noble and Sammy Root entered the villa, many of the male islanders admitted that Molly was their number one choice.
Many conversations throughout the week had shown Molly getting to know the other islanders, with others such as Catherine Agbaje and Medhi Edno barely being seen.
Viewers of the ITV reality show began to dub the series as “Molly Island” and took to their Twitter accounts to express their annoyance.
@wtfisaglizzy asked: “Why has this all of a sudden turned into Molly Island bro? I’m done with it.”
@user427938581 commented: “I’ve had enough of Molly & Mitchell Island now.”
@4ktoby exclaimed: “GET ME OFF OF MOLLY ISLAND. IM ON MY KNEES BEGGING #LoveIsland.”
@Ace_2o added: “When we are 40 min and it’s still Molly Island. Make it Stop.”

Last night, Mitchel was forced to sit Molly down and ask about where their relationship was going as he had heard contradicting comments from other islanders compared to Molly.
Sammy sat down with Mitchel and explained: “I can’t lie, Molly was my favourite. I want to get to know her.

“At the end of the day, she said to me she was open to getting to know other people as well,” to which Mitchel quipped: “Do your thing, get to know the girls. Let the best man win”
Mitchel then pulled Molly for a chat and explained: “I don’t want to give you the energy I think you deserve when you’re not going to give me any reciprocation back.
“I’d rather let you do your thing. No one compares to you right now. I’m still gonna adore you, I still think you’re great.
“[But] I don’t wanna cuddle and all that stuff anymore, I wanna sit back and I want you to explore your options.”
Molly was left upset after Mitchel’s comments but later chose him as her partner during the recoupling.
Love Island airs weeknights and Sunday from 9pm on ITV2.
