Love Island: Zachariah couples up with Catherine
One Love Island feature which has been known to make a statement and be continued throughout the seasons is the Islanders putting on their sunglasses the moment they wake up.
However during the second instalment on Tuesday, June 6 viewers were left baffled as not one Islander had sunglasses on whilst they were sat in bed.
Taking to their Twitter accounts, user @electraheartt89 fumed: “Woah woah woah what happened to the sunglasses when everyone wakes up… #LoveIsland.”
@halesinpari commented: “It’s taking them awfully long to put their sunglasses on this morning like…. usually it’s the first thing #LoveIsland.”
@tn_ya_m expressed: “No sunglasses #LoveIsland,” alongside a GIF which read: “Thank you Jesus.”
@heyiamthomas_ quipped: “Please put the sunglasses on I can’t deal w everyone squinting #LoveIsland.”
@SweetMaxy said: “Can’t lie… I’m missing everyone sat in bed with their water bottles, sunglasses on barely talking to one another! Feel a bit disjointed, oh the good old days.”
Hannah Rusher quipped: “BRING BACK THE SUNGLASSES! I literally do that now because of Love Island, you can’t take this away from me.” (sic)
Former Islander Elma Pazar who featured in the 2019 series of the show previously opened up on the reasons as to why they all wear sunglasses in the bedroom.

Last night, night one bombshell Zachariah Noble had to choose which girl he wanted to pair up with and which boy he would be leaving single and vulnerable.
Explaining his reasons for choosing the girl, he said: “Firstly I would just like to say it has definitely not been an easy position to be in.
“Obviously coming in as a bombshell I have been given this power and it has been difficult. The reason why I want to couple up with this individual is because the conversations we have had have been very easy.
“They felt very natural and she is also a very beautiful person, so the girl I would like to couple up with is Catherine [Agbaje].”
