LOVE Island's Ollie Williams faked his reason for quitting the show, Olivia Attwood has suggested.
The former Love Island star rubbished his claim that he walked from show after realising he's still in love with his ex-girlfriend.
Olivia, 27, tweeted last night: "If you believe that is the real reason he left the villa then you probably believe in Father Christmas too."
Many fans agreed with her after ITV were hit with a 35,000-strong petition to have the "sick" animal hunter Ollie Williams, 23, kicked off the show.
One person replied to the 2017 Love Island star: "Lol I was thinking the same, he didnt leave for his ex, he left cause he likes to hunt & kill innocent animals and got called out for it & ITV didnt know how to handle the situation as always!!!
Another viewer said: "Producers told him to leave because of the endangered animals he was killing."
The Lord-to-be had been hit by controversy after he was pictured posing up with the carcasses of dead animals on a shooting holiday in Africa.
His exit will air in tonight's episode, where he'll the Love Islanders: "This is probably the hardest decision I've ever made."
Last night, a teaser showed Callum and Connor looking stunned as they listen to Ollie explain his decision to leave.
He claimed being in the villa made him realise he was still in love with ex-girlfriend Laura Nofer, 23, who he dated for 18 months before splitting last year.
Later, Ollie says in the Beach Hut: "I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else.
"I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings. At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love.
"If I carried on anything with Paige, or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn’t be fair on them."
ITV confirmed to The Sun Online Ollie will not be replaced, leaving six girls and just five boys until a new set of bombshells enter the villa.
Tomorrow's sneak peek also revealed Shaughna Phillips turning on the charm for love interest Callum Jones after vowing to fight for him against Eve Gale.
She told Eve: "May the best girl win" before being seen telling Callum she'll be "more flirtatious".
- Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
