Poor Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley). She is desperately hoping to reunite with Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) in Emmerdale but right now, it doesn’t seem as though a relationship is on his mind.
This is, of course, largely down to the fact Paddy is focusing on his mental health after attempting to end his life. He’s made positive changes to his environment and is adapting to life at Liam’s (Jonny McPherson) house, and is also being supported by just about everyone – especially Mandy.
After previously making dinner for Paddy and Bear (Joshua Richards), Mandy popped by during her shift in Wednesday’s (March 29) edition of the ITV soap and got talking to Paddy on his lunchbreak.
She also brought along a Shepherd’s pie and Paddy was very grateful.
After Mandy left, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) went to see Paddy with Chip the dog.
Topic of conversation turned to Mandy and the meal she had made and later, Vinny entered the salon to tell his mum about seeing their friend.
Mandy’s eyes lit up at the thought of Paddy talking about her while she wasn’t around, and instructed Vinny to sit down so she could hear all about it.
With Mandy clearly seeking to reunite with Paddy, a relationship can only work if the feelings are reciprocated…so we’re left wondering, just what does Paddy want?
While we wait for an answer, fans are continuing to hope they will get back together – something Lisa Riley also wants!
‘Who knows what’s going to happen in the future?’, she previously teased.
‘All I can say is me and Dom go back to being kids and we adore working together and I think that comes across. The directors say it. But do we want to give the audience exactly what they want straight away? Everybody loved Ross and Rachel, didn’t they?’
