Mama June's ex Geno Doak claims he tried to KILL himself with booze & pills overdose but friend saved him with 911 call

MAMA June Shannon's ex Geno Doak claimed he had tried to kill himself with a booze and pills overdose but a friend had saved him with an urgent call to 911.

Geno, 45, revealed to TMZ  what led him to a "really dark spot."

Back in September 2021, June's ex-boyfriend had been struggling with issues that were "building up" since before he met his former partner.

After his attempted suicide, a friend had found him at his Florida home and immediately called 911.

After the paramedics resuscitated him, Geno found himself in a mental health facility.

He also mentioned how the TLC star had offered advice when he told her about his suicide attempt.

The Mama June: Road to Redemption star referred him to a rehab center over in South Carolina.

He also described how their relationship had become "nonexistent" since their breakup back in August 2021.

GENO'S LEGAL TROUBLES

Also in August 2021, The Sun exclusively revealed that Geno had been sentenced to 16 months in prison on drug charges.

His sentencing came after his ex had narrowly avoided any jail time related to the same 2019 incident.

According to court records, Geno was admitted into the Alabama prison system back in July 2021.

He was also granted the release date of November 28, 2022.

Geno's sentence was served through the Community Corrections Program based out of Macon county.

The reality star and her boyfriend were arrested outside an Alabama gas station on charges of possession of crack cocaine, which took place back in March 2019.

Geno was hit with a third-degree domestic violence charge, as well as on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The former couple was arrested after cops were called to the "domestic dispute" scene between them.

Police had discovered a glass pipe with white residue, a green pill. and needles on the floor of their car.

Previously, June was sentenced to 100 hours of community service as she was ordered to remain clean and sober in order to avoid any jail time.

JUSTIN'S ARREST

Recently, The Sun revealed that June’s new boyfriend, Justin Stroud, has been arrested.

Justin had a warrant in Florida related to his past drug charges.

As The Sun first reported, the arrest warrant was issued back in October 2021 after Justin had violated his probation on drug and burglary charges.

One eyewitness who was working nearby told The Sun: "Four cop cars came into the venue and started speaking with the valets."

"Next thing you know, police pull into the gas station and they all swarmed in and arrested him. We saw him get taken away."

Justin was held in the county jail and listed as an “Out of State Fugitive.”

Local police believed Justin would remain in the county jail pending an extradition hearing.

'ROUGH TWO WEEKS'

June recently shared her thoughts on the ordeal on Facebook: "Man it’s been a rough two weeks. But pray today, it will all be better in the world.

"I know God has us and that he will see us through anything, even though it may seem like things are rough at times."

She concluded: "Just remember God always has us.”
