Mark Labbett says hes not hungry anymore as he addresses 10 stone weight loss

Mark Labbett ‘not sure how’ he pulled off weight loss

The Chase star Mark “The Beast” Labbett admitted he doesn’t feel “hungry anymore” as he reflected on his weight loss journey.

The Chaser detailed his health change while on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch, where he remarked on his shedding of 10 stone: “I’m not quite sure how I’ve done it.

“Obviously, [I’m a] Type 2 diabetic, so leading on from the previous one, slightly different.

“Obviously, I have the drugs that I have to take every day but that’s it. I’ve never had a diabetic episode.”

The 57-year-old continued: “But I think I’ve lost some weight when I got hit by what was likely Covid.

“When I got hit you had to be practically the Prime Minister to get a test back then…And the main thing, I’m just not hungry anymore!”

The Chase favourite has been updating fans on his weight loss journey on social media.

The Beast expressed his joy over a decrease in his clothing size recently as he tweeted: “Picking up my skinny suits sometime this week. DJ and two pieces, each 54 long jacket and 40/34 trousers.

“Will post photos when I get a chance to wear them at a gig #skinnybeast.”

The quizzing expert also credited his dog, Baloo, with his weight loss as he explained his furry friend was his “personal trainer”.

The star still appears on The Chase after first joining when the programme premiered back in 2009.
