The neighbourhood of Erinsborough is most famous for hosting Ramsay Street, the home of iconic Neighbours families including the Robinsons and the Kennedys.
But those same streets are also home to Cameron Stollery, who made his name as a Rubik’s Cube world champion.
Neighbours is filmed at Pin Oak Court, in Vermont South, Victoria. Eager tourists can board a tour bus dedicated to the popular Channel 5 soap and take a tour of Ramsay Street itself – but you’d be missing out on an intrinsic part of the area’s heritage.

Cameron ‘The Cube’ Stollery also hails from the area, and began his speed cubing career in 2010 before being declared the Australia Master Magic Champion in 2011.
That year he also became Australia’s Magic Champion, winning the 2x2x2 Championship for his country in 2013.
In short, there are several varieties of Rubik’s Cubes available on the market – the standard 3x3x3 model and a smaller one made up of only four squares on each side, theoretically making it easier to solve.
Becoming the champion of Australia wasn’t enough for Cameron, however, as he went on to conquer the world at the 2013 2x2x2 World Championships, before being succeeded by Feliks Zemdegs in 2015.
Along with having record-beating skills in speed cubing, Cameron has also acted as a volunteer at various Rubik’s Cube contests – helping out with “judging and puzzle scrambling” when he isn’t competing himself.
Cameron originally graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics from Monash University, and in his regular life world as a data consultant.
However, it hasn’t all been plain sailing for the cubing genius, as in 2012 he found himself disqualified from a competition for breaking the rules.

According to a statement from the World Cube Association, Cameron’s first attempt was changed to a Did Not Finish result, after video evidence showed him tampering with his cube before the judge had chance to inspect it.
One of the many rules in speed cubing states that “the competitor must not touch or move the puzzle until the judge has inspected the puzzle”.
The statement added that Cameron had “grabbed the cube and moved a side without waiting for confirmation by the judge, even though one side of the cube was misaligned and not at all obviously solved”.
The WCA added that the champion was “very cooperative” and “accepted” the ruling without complaint.
