The conclusive season of the hit BBC show Peaky Blinders will be making its way onto viewers’ television screens soon, and they can’t wait. Three new photos have been released and tease fans with what’s to come in the intense and explosive next instalment.
Actor Cillian Murphy has previously revealed the next season will be “dark” and at times “wasn’t a very pleasant shooting experience”.
With the storyline still very much under lock and key, fan theories are flying around, and the new images are being looked at intensely for any clues of what’s to come.
The images show Thomas “Tommy” Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) across multiple locations looking ready to fight and wrap up any unfinished business.
While the release date for the new series is yet to be confirmed, fans do know anti-hero Tommy will continue his war against fascist politician Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin).

Also teased for season six is a new mysterious character played by BAFTA nominee Stephen Graham.
The show will also see the return of Gina Gray (Anya Taylor-Joy). After stepping away from the show Anna, 25, landed international success with Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit and several major films.
Tom Hardy is also returning to the cast playing the role of Alfie Solomons.
How they will all feature in the final run of episodes however, remains to be seen.
But, show creator Steven Knight has opened up on how the “scale is bigger” for the next cycle.
“The characters really go through it now,” he informed The Guardian.
“They’re up against demons, enemies, fascists. The scale is bigger, and there’s a dark energy. It’s the most jeopardy they’ve faced.”
Also adding “We were shadowing current events in the last series. The rise of nationalism, populism, fascism: it all started to look eerily relevant.”
Director Anthony Byrne also told The Sunday Times: “We’ve nailed it. It’s the perfect ending. It’s very big, and lands in the great endings of long-running TV shows.
“Peaky is talked about within the conversation of other great shows and when I watched the rough cut I knew, personally, we nailed it.”
And, recently talking to Esquire, Cillian alluded to the fact the concluding season was difficult to film.
“I’ve loved it. It’s only this year that it felt hard. I’m still shocked by how it went from this small little show on BBC Two to this worldwide phenomenon,” he said.
On the news of a film adaptation, he added: “I’m open to ideas. I think he [Steven Knight] wants to, but I haven’t read anything.”
With so many spoilers flying around, loyal fans are keen to know if the potential BBC streaming date of February 27 is correct or not.
