PIERS Morgan has taken revenge on former employer ITV by pinching their brightest behind the scenes talent.
The ex-Good Morning Britain host, 56, has hired six key production staff from the channel including Erron Gordon – his former director on GMB – to operate his upcoming new primetime show on TalkTV.
An insider gloated to the Mail: "We’ve nicked all the best people."
While another source said: "Piers is not a man to cross. He was forced out of ITV totally unnecessarily and now he has dealt the ultimate revenge by taking their stars."
"He has only hired the people who he thinks are the best so this is a really big blow to the channel."
The broadcaster quit ITV last March after a furious on-air row with weatherman Alex Beresford over his views towards Meghan Markle.
After taking an extended break from the limelight, sought after Piers signed for NewsCorp's brand new channel.
Joining him for the new venture are Loose Women director Ollie Gardner, who is TalkTV's deputy head of studio output, and GMB assistant editor Ben Briscoe, who is series editor of News UK’s TV content.
