Power season 6: Fans rage as show ‘drags’ who shot Ghost plot with killer still at large

The midseason finale of Power season six left fans in shock after Ghost (played by Omari Hardwick) was shot by an unknown figure. Viewers watched as he fell from the balcony wondering if he survived. However, the first episode soon revealed he’s really gone.

Despite the latest episode of Power failing to reveal who shot Ghost, the episode did confirm his death and rule out some suspects.

Fans knew the next five episodes would be told from the perspective from each of the suspects, and by the end of this episode, two of the characters are ruled out as being Ghost’s killer.

The episode focuses on Dre (Rotimi) and why he was doing leading up to Ghost’s death.

Desperate for cash, councilman Tate seems to be his last hope as he offers him $100,000 in exchange for killing Ghost.

Dre takes the cash and sets out to complete his task.

As he goes to shoot Ghost he hears a gunshot meaning it could never have been him.

Moreover, he bumps into Rodriguez meaning she couldn’t have killed him either.

Fans were disappointed to see Ghost’s death confirmed as Dre stopped off at a petrol station and sees on the news that James St Patrick has been murdered.

However, they were more frustrated that they are still none the wiser as to who shot Ghost.

One fan tweeted: “Very disappointed with #Power. They’re gonna drag it out and make us wait to see who killed Ghost.”

“I’m sorry but I DO NOT have enough patience to WAIT 6 more story lines just to find out #WhoShotGhost This some bs man #Power”

“Hmm Power… So Ghost is really dead… And the remaining 4 episodes is just to find out who shot Ghost? These series guys just be giving us endings that we really don’t deserve. #Power” added a third.
