James ‘Ghost’ St Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick) was killed off of Power in the show’s final season, just one series after his soulmate Angela Valdes (Lela Loren) was killed by Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora). Both Ghost and Angela were two of the biggest characters in the Starz series with their love story providing the basis for much of the drama so both of their exits certainly left a hole in the hearts of viewers. However, there was a welcome return for both characters after the credits in the series finale rolled.
In the very final moments in the last-ever episode of Power, viewers were transported back to 1996 to see a young Tommy and Ghost leaving school.
A teenage Tommy turns to Ghost and says: “Hey, yo, come on, we gotta move this weight. Kanan’s (50 Cent) gonna be looking for us.
“Said he’s gonna introduce us to Breeze tonight.”
However, Ghost has his attention diverted when Angela enters the picture and approaches him.

The pair begin discussing possible colleges they can attend after high-school, with Angela suggesting Choate, the school Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) ends up going to.
In typical Ghost and Angela fashion, the scene is charged with sexual tension as the teens flirt outside their high-school.
And given one of the Starz spin-offs, Book III: Raising Kanan, is a prequel series, some fans had speculated they would be seeing more of this teenage romance even though Power had ended.
However, it doesn’t look like fans will get to see the beginning of Ghost and Angela’s romance at all as showrunner Courtney Kemp rubbished the possibility that the flashback would lead to future storylines.
Speaking during a private Q&A screening with Deadline, Kemp was asked what the significance of the flashback was and if fans would get to see more.
She replied: “No, we’re not gonna explore them as teens.
“We may in the late seasons of Raising Kanan and this is if me and 50 talk about that at some point with Sascha [Penn, showrunner],
“But as we get to the end of Raising Kanan, depending on how many seasons that goes, that could be six-seven years right?
“As Kanan himself gets older – we know that when he was around 19, that’s when he started to hook up with Ghost and Tommy,
“So when you first come into Raising Kanan he’s 15 so it would take a minute.”
Kanan star Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson also appeared to rule out the possibility as she described the prequel will focus predominantly on his alter-ego.
He said: “The lead in Raising Kanan has to regress to the point where he’s damaged and has to introduce all of these things to Ghost and Tommy,”

50 Cent added: “He’s like, it’s the innocence phase, it’s the origin story of that character.
“Like you see his very first fight you see the things that eventually turns him into the character that you see in Power.
“At the end of the day, I’m really excited about it because it takes us to a time period where the music and the feel of the series is just exciting, that late 80s to early 90s.”
So it looks like the only way fans will get to see moments like that flashback scene won’t be until the very late seasons of Raising Kanan, if at all.
Power seasons 1-6 are available to stream on Netflix UK now.
