CHANNEL 4 has decided to axe their reboot of Four Weddings amid the cancellation of other big-name shows.
In April 2023, it was announced the beloved programme would make a return to screens after a decade off air.
This comes as the commercial broadcaster axed four hugely popular TV shows.
The network has reportedly run into funding issues and has had to make the difficult decision to can a slew of successful series.
The budget cuts are said to have affected Naked Attraction, Four Weddings, Scared of The Dark and Rescue: Extreme Medics.
According to the Daily Mail, staff at the struggling channel are calling the culling of these shows a 'bloodbath'.

Popular panel show The Last Leg is also believed to have had its episode order slashed for its upcoming series.
Four Weddings is a particular shock as Channel 4 trumpeted about bringing back the much-loved series for a reboot.
An insider told the publication: "At first everyone was in total shock when Four Weddings was cancelled.
"It’s almost unheard of that a show that is going really well is decommissioned, but as news started to spread, other shows were falling down too.

"The casting team were already in place to start on Naked Attraction and were all told they were no longer needed as they were not making another series."
Four Weddings is said to have been shopped to an independent production company so it may show up on another channel in the future.
The Sun previously revealed earlier this year the show would be going back into production.
The programme sees brides and grooms brutally rank each other’s big day from the outfits, food and overall experience.
Viewers previously saw the four couples reunite at an airport where they would learn who had won.
The winning couple would then board a plane and be whisked off on a romantic honeymoon.
Producers decided to ditch that element and instead offer the winners £50,000 in cash to spend how they please.
