ROXANNE Pallett’s honeymoon plans have been ruined after her firefighter husband was called into work after their wedding.
The Celebrity Big Brother star secretly wed her boyfriend Jason Carrion last Sunday after a whirlwind romance.
But they weren't able to celebrate being newlyweds on holiday because Jason was needed back at work.
Roxanne told the Mirror: "It was the most perfect day saying 'I do' to the most perfect man I've spent my life praying for.
"We are now going to a spa retreat to relax before J returns to full duty at the firehouse."
The 37-year-old was the most complained about woman on TV in 2018 after falsely accusing Ryan Thomas of attacking her with malicious intent on Celebrity Big Brother.
She later admitted to over-exaggerating the claim she made against him, with Ofcom receiving 27,000 complaints about her.
Roxanne was pushed to the brink and even considered taking her own life after backlash from the public.
She broke up with her fiancé Lee Walton and Roxanne stepped out of the public eye before finding love again with Jason last summer.
They got married two months after announcing their engagement.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Roxanne said of their union: “I’m living proof that you can find a happily ever after beyond tough times.
“To walk down the aisle in such a perfect fairy-tale setting towards my dream man, was the happiest moment of my life. I’m still floating on a cloud.”
The pair wed at Lutheran Evangelical Church in NY and exchanged handwritten vows, before Roxanne’s mum read out a poem written by Jason’s late mother.
There were only ten of the couple's closest friends and family in attendance.
