Gogglebox and I’m A Celebrity star Scarlett Moffatt has failed her driving test 13 times.

So she is opening her own driving school for fellow motoring flops like her in a bid to help them finally pass.

It is all for a new BBC One series called Scarlett’s Driving School.

She said: “I’m over the moon. Having failed my driving test 13 times I know exactly how these learners feel and how much strain it puts on the person teaching you – no one will get in a car with me anymore!

“I hope that that my new show will give us all the confidence to finally rip up those L plates and hit the road.”

The show will be set in Teeside and its aim is to help learners who missed out on lessons with professionals during the pandemic and had to rely on family or friends which often caused friction.

Scarlett will welcome those who are struggling to pass their test to a unique five-day course at her driving school.

They will be given a crash course from some of the UK’s top professional driving instructors.

And at the end of the show, they will all take their test to see who has finally passed.

Scarlet is also due to explore her faith alongside other celebs as she appears on BBC Two's The Pilgrimage: The Road to the Scottish Isles.

She will join a star-studded cast which includes Changing Rooms host Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Apprentice star Nick Hewer, Dancing on Ice alum Will Bayley, Monty Panesar, Louisa Clein, and Shazia Mirza.

It will see Scarlett travel through the Republic of Ireland and Scotland as they learn about religious history.

Speaking about why she's looking forward to the pilgrimage show, Scarlett said she wants to discover what her religion is.

She said: "I’m doing the pilgrimage as I want to know what my religion is. I want to be able to answer that question with confidence.

"At school, I spent a lot of time just reading books and on my own and so that’s how I got into faith really. It just felt calming.

"There’s almost a stigma attached to sort of being religious. Whenever I would tell my friends, they’d laugh and I’d be like: 'Why is that funny?' I believe in God, there has to be something that started all this.

"I would describe myself as Christian, but not a strict Christian. I don’t go to church, but I definitely believe and religion to me is security.

"In my head somebody on a pilgrimage is in a loin cloth and they have really long hair… and they look a bit dehydrated like they need a good moisturiser mask.
