On Monday afternoon, a new trailer for the second half of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary series was released and hinted at what viewers can expect to see in the final three episodes, which takes a look as to why the couple decided to step down as working royals. Sharon Osbourne joined Piers Morgan on his TalkTV show Uncensored where they both expressed their dislike for the series.
Sharon began: “It was all very distasteful Piers. I was totally bored by the whining, the whining, the whining.
“And you know, the curtsey and the thing she said about medieval times, the lunch with the Queen was like medieval times which as you know is a Disney-type entertainment place for kids.
“It is just so horribly disrespectful and just a whine fest. I mean is the book going to be the same thing?
“Whining, whining, is there going to be no positive points?

“And that whole thing of him filming himself on the freedom flight, they must have had that deal with Netflix done months before they ever left so the whole thing was a set-up.
“Unless you had a deal, why would you have done that? Filming of yourself on the plane and all of that, doing a video diary.”
Piers agreed: “And what kind of freedom is it if what you are doing is living in your California mansion, with unbelievable privilege and wealth and you’re signing all these deals with companies who want their pound of flesh.
“And that pound of flesh is exclusively trashing your family, I mean this is all they do. From the Oprah interview onwards, all they have done is trash their family.”
Sharon continued to jibe: “It’s trash. There is nothing about themselves and this is a great time for them to keep talking about their charity but no.
“It is about them being these poor little children who are so much in love and how abused they have been, their race, the way they act.
“Everything has been abused by the public, by the press, by the Royal Family. Well, do you know what? You have a great life, you have a beautiful family, and you are so much in love, move on, get a life and move on.”
When the latest trailer was released, it didn’t take long for Piers to make his opinion known on Twitter.
Sharing the trailer from the official Netflix account, he wrote: “It’s not a ‘global event’, it’s a weekly trashing of their families.”
He also shared ITV News’ Royal Editor Chris Ships tweet about the trailer and said: “King Charles needs to strip these two poisonous rats of all remaining titles & ties to the Royal Family.. and needs to do it fast before they destroy the Monarchy.” (sic)
The first three episodes of the series focused heavily on how Meghan and Harry met and the early days of their relationship.
The final three instalments, which drop on 15 December, are set to look at the reasons why they left their roles as working royals, with Meghan claiming she was “fed to the wolves”.
Prince Harry claims: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother but they weren’t prepared to tell the truth to protect us.”
The trailer also suggested allegations of a campaign against the couple, “gas lighting” them and leaving them feeling unsafe.
Prince Harry explains: “I said, ‘We need to get out of here’, I wonder what would have happened to us had we not got out when we did?”
Piers Morgan Uncensored airs weekdays from 8pm on TalkTV.
