As Coronation Street residents continue to grieve following Imran Habeeb’s (Charlie de Melo) death, rumours are circulating over Toyah Battersby’s (George Taylor) involvement in her partner’s final moments.
It’s a shock, yes, but evidence from the investigation is currently making it seem as though Toyah may have crashed her car deliberately.
One piece of evidence is CCTV footage, which shows Toyah failing to slow down or turn the wheel as she and Imran approached the building surrounded by scaffolding.
With Adam (Sam Robertson) having his doubts, he’s questioned by the police in tonight’s episode, where he reveals information about baby Susie (Eva Price’s daughter) and Toyah’s desperation to have a baby.
Also tonight, Weatherfield residents say their goodbyes to Imran.
During the funeral, Toyah delivers a heartfelt eulogy and says that she wishes Imran had survived the crash, not her.
As the week continues, Leanne (Jane Danson) calls at the police station, desperate for news on Toyah.
Toyah makes it clear she didn’t intend to kill Imran or herself and she won’t lie to that effect – but how will new information impact peoples’ opinion towards Toyah?
Will they believe she did intend to kill Imran after learning of his betrayal?
