Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher has gone from strength to strength on Strictly Come Dancing but now there are fears he won’t make it to the final after he dropped the bombshell he is struggling to learn this week’s dances. He is expected to perform Paso Doble and Quickstep tomorrow night but will he be able to get his head in gear and make his way to the final on December 14?
Kelvin and profesional dancer Oti Mabuse joined Zoe Ball on Strictly Come Dancing’s spin off, It Takes Two, on Wednesday when the actor was quick to mention what a tough day it had been and his fears for this week.
Speaking to Zoe, Kelvin said: “We’ve had a tough day today. It’s been a really tough day. It takes me ages to learn the dances.
“Normally by a Thursday, I’m normally just learning the dance.”
He added: “I’m praying it’s going to be enough on Saturday.”

Kelvin is heading into the semi-final joining Emma Barton and Anton DuBeke, Chris Ramsay and Karen Hauer, and Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.
And with just one more day before the final couples are chosen, the nerves are definitely setting it.
It Takes Two host Zoe told Kelvin he was being too hard on himself and needed to give himself more credit, but the Emmerdale actor didn’t seem convinced.
Zoe said: “This is looking good though, I think you are so much better than you even realise and that’s the amazing thing about you.”
Kelvin has wowed viewers and the Strictly judges over the last 11 weeks after stepping in at the last minute after reality star Jamie Laing was injured.
He and Oti also got the earliest 10s in the series but he’s still not be able to convince judge Craig Revel Horwood he deserves a full house.
Will Craig finally give Kelvin his 10 tomorrow and will the actor be able to finally impress him?
All semi-finalists have been given two dances to perfect in the bid to glide into the final next weekend.

Everyone is vulnerable right now as last week saw presenter Alex Scott booted off the show after a tense dance-off with comedian Chris.
Craig and Motsi Mabuse both chose to save Alex and dance partner Neil Jones.
However, Bruno opted to save Chris and Karen, leaving the decision to head judge Shirley Ballas who also chose to save the comedian, but what does this mean for Kelvin and Oti as they head into the semi-final?
Emma and Anton will be performing the Waltz and Cha Cha, Karim and Amy have been learning the Argentine Tango and the American Smooth – can Kelvin’s Paso Doble and Quick step impress enough?

Chris and Karen will have the Rumba and Viennese Waltz but are favourite to miss out on the final according to the latest odds.
Coral make him odds on at 2/9 to be booted off this week, with spokesperson Harry Aitkenhead commenting: “One celebrity will miss out on a place in the 2019 Strictly Come Dancing final and we make Chris the hot favourite to be the unlucky one. He is odds on to be eliminated this weekend.
“Kelvin is continuing to blitz his way to the Glitterball Trophy and we make him the favourite to be the last one standing when the show comes to a conclusion.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC on Saturday at 7pm.
