Bradley Walsh was back tonight on The Chase and introduced Mark, Sam, Ian and Diane to the studio to go up against Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty in the hopes of beating the chaser and taking home the jackpot. However, fans hit out at contestant Mark today after he suggested Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace was the toughest chaser.

Mark, Sam, Ian and Diane were introduced to the chaser tonight and first up was Mark.
Bradley asked what Mark would do with the money if he won tonight and the trainee train driver revealed his wife had a very special birthday coming up and he wanted to do something special.
Mark showed he was a good quizzer from the off and managed to take £7,000 into the final with him.
However, when Bradley asked him which chaser he wanted to go up against, Mark gave an answer which infuriated viewers.

Mark said: “Well the toughest one of the lot is definitely Shaun Wallace.”
Fans took to Twitter to hit out at Mark’s remark and discuss who they thought was the toughest chaser.
One viewer said: “Mark thinks Shaun is the toughest chaser. Has he ever watched this program ? #TheChase”
Another said: “To he honest, I think @MarkLabbett is the toughest chaser #TheChase.”
A third explained: “Shaun?? The toughest won. Obviously not a regular viewer or else he’s a total w*****!!#Thechase.”
And a fourth added: “Toughest one of the lot is Shaun…. no mate #TheChase.”
Anne was welcomed onto the episode and Mark looked nervous, but she quickly complimented the player.
Mark was pleased with a strong first round and Anne said he had given a “first class performance.”
Although, this wasn’t the only thing fans were angry about tonight as the players continued to take the lowest offers.

Even Bradley was annoyed with the team telling them that they could have a £80,000 jackpot if they hadn’t “bottled” it.
Instead Ian, Sam and Mark took just £9,000 into the final and were gutted that they could have all chosen the higher offer.
One viewer said: “IMO the only person that should consider taking a low offer (depending on the game play of The Chaser and the others) is the last player. But the other t***s f***** up the whole vibe of the game up, she went middle and lost #TheChase.”
Another said: “Two taking the lower offer on #Thechase pure evil that.”

It was time for the final round and with 19 questions correct it was down to Anne to try and send the three finalists home.
It was an incredible final round and despite Anne being on fire and quickly catching up with the contestants.
In the last two questions Anne made some slip ups and with just eight seconds to spare Anne needed to get two questions correct.
But, of course she did and the three finalists went home with nothing.
The Chase airs on ITV weekdays at 5pm.
