Alison Hammond is the frontrunner to replace Holly or Phil on This Morning.
The former Big Brother contestant, 48, who has previously fronted the show alongside Dermot O’Leary, is odds-on at 1-2 to be named as its new full-time host.
Coral bookies’ John Hill said: “With obvious tension between Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, we think one of the two presenters will leave This Morning at some point this year, and we make Alison Hammond the odds-on favourite to fill their shoes.”

Alison coming in could see her front an all-female version of the show, as insiders say Holly “just wants Phillip Schofield gone”.
Holly reportedly started contract negotiations with ITV bosses last week to push for new terms following the breakdown of her friendship with Phil.
Phil’s contract is up in September and This Morning’s editor Martin Frizell is reportedly “fed up of clearing up Phillip’s mess”.
Holly and Phil are both expected to appear on This Morning on Monday following days of crisis talks amid reports they are barely speaking off-camera.
ITV bosses confirmed they are putting their differences aside for the show, saying: “Holly and Phillip will be back on the sofa tomorrow.”
Sources have also declared it is “too late” to save the pair’s long-standing friendship amid allegations Phil failed to tell Holly he was going off air earlier this year due to his brother being on trial for sexual offences against a teenage boy.
Insiders have added the pair have been locked in discussions with bosses since Friday about their future together on ITV’s flagship morning show.
It is understood they have vowed to keep going for the meantime for the sake of fans.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
