THIS year’s winner of The Apprentice made just £13,000 last year, The Sun can reveal.
Reality show contestant Carina Lepore, 30, won the BBC1 show on Wednesday, bagging a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.
Documents for her company Dough Artisan Bakehouse, show that before winning she only had £13,713 worth of funds in the coffers.
The figures, publicly available at Companies House, show she had £37,000 worth of assets and £22,000 in the bank in cash.
After paying creditors more than £46,000, she was left with less than £14,000 overall. Carina, 30, from south London, beat recruiter Scarlett Allen-Horton, 32, in the BBC1 final on Wednesday.
Carina runs the Dough Artisan Bakehouse in Herne Hill, South London, and has said she wants a branch on “every high street across the UK”.
She said her father was the head baker at the branch, but the documents say his directorship was terminated in June.
In the final, Carina and Scarlett were asked to create digital adverts and present them to Lord Sugar and 250 experts.
Carina applied for the hit show after she saw his famous number plate and tweeted him asking how many sugars he takes.
