I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is a TV highlight of the year for many viewers, and with all the drama and fun 2019’s series has brought, it’s easy to see why.
From getting juicy tidbits about the OJ Simpson trial from Caitlyn Jenner to the return of Ant McPartlin (and plenty of classic Ant and Dec comedy), it’s been a great series.
With the final airing tonight and a new Jungle King or Queen being crowned, let’s take a look at just what the winner wins exactly…
Does the winner of I’m a Celebrity get anything?
Other than their initial fee for signing up, the King or Queen of the Jungle don’t win anything else for taking home the crown – apart from the thrill of being voted the nation’s favourite, of course.
They don’t even get to keep their trophy.
Every celebrity who signs up for the show receives an agreed fee for taking part.
The winner of the show is likely to rake it in in other ways though.
The King or Queen of the Jungle will no doubt be inundated with offers for media appearances, adverts and endorsements.
Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt saw her net worth increase 1567% after she won the show in 2016
This year Caitlyn Jenner was rumoured to have bagged one of the largest fees in the show’s history, earning a staggering £500,000.
Even if a celebrity doesn’t actually turn up on the show, they still get a pretty pay-out as it was revealed that standby stars earn £20,000 just for waiting around.
