THE FALLOUT from Zayn Malik's confrontation with Yolanda Hadid resulted in the Pillow Talk singer's split from his longtime girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
Court documents filed against the One Direction alum alleged he "struck" the Real Housewives star and told her to "stay away from [my] f***ing daughter."
What happened between Zayn Malik and Yolanda Hadid?
On October 28, 2021, Yolanda Hadid alleged that her daughter's then-partner, Zayn Malik, "struck her" during a family dispute.
The Bravo TV star filed a police report, resulting in Zayn being charged with four criminal offenses of harassment.
The U.S. Sun confirmed the charges were for "Harassment – Course of Conduct With No Legitimate Purpose."
Zayn denied the claims and pleaded no contest to the charges.
It's also reported that the former One Direction singer spewed hateful speech toward Yolanda.
Legal documents claim he used phrases like "stay away from [my] f***ing daughter" and called her a "f***ing Dutch s**t."
Although, it is unclear what exactly transpired during the confrontation.
The incident occurred at their ranch in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

At the time, Zayn and Gigi Hadid, who share a daughter named Khai, were living there to maintain a low public profile.
After the confrontation, the former was ordered to complete anger management classes and serve 360 days of probation.
"The thing is, Yolanda and Zayn are like chalk and cheese and they've never seen eye to eye," an insider revealed to The U.S. Sun in 2021.
"Yolanda has always been very supportive of and involved in Gigi's career and is always saying Zayn should do more to support her – walk red carpets with her, post about her on IG, at one point she even suggested a reality show and he was horrified.
"That's Zayn's idea of a nightmare. It was almost like he was being guilt-tripped, as she'd always be hinting that Zayn's reluctance to play the showbiz game was holding back Gigi's career.
"They're both so devoted to Khai but after the split, there was no reason for Zayn to play nice with Yolanda and I expect that's why the 'harsh words' were exchanged."
What did Zayn and Yolanda say about the incident?
Regarding his dispute with Yolanda, Zayn took to Twitter, saying: "As you all know, I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in.
"A place where private family matters aren't thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.
"In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.
He added: "This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for not there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press.
"I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly, I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves."
The I Don't Wanna Live Forever singer also explained to TMZ: "I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private."
On July 12, 2023, Zayn appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast to further tell his side of the story.
"I don't get involved when people talk online. My most valuable thing for me is time and I don't want to be justifying myself," he said.
"I knew what the situation was, and I knew what happened, and the people involved know what happened, and that's all that matters.
"I didn't want to bring attention and I didn't want to get a negative back and forth with her about any sort of narrative for my daughter to eventually read it.
"I believe I dealt with it in the best way and that's all that needs to be said. It was a lot of negativity.
He shared: "They're family issues I'd rather keep that in the family.
"I'm very hands-on with my child, if I could have 60% I would take it."
When did Zayn and Gigi Hadid split?
During the fallout from Zayn and Yolanda's feud going public, he and Gigi went their separate ways.
"They are not together right now. They are both good parents though," an insider told People in October 2021.
"They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild."
